What I'm doing with my life: I’m a home-schooling mom part of the time; a professional organizer the other part. The other, other part is spent playing with my doggy, tubing the river, and strumming my guitar.
Clients I extra heart: I love ALL of my clients, but I extra love those whose struggles with disorganization stem from hoarding tendencies or other mental health concerns. There is no greater reward to me than supporting these clients through the sometimes rocky waters of improving their lives. My bonus skill: I'm pretty danged handy, so I can finish up all those little projects that you started in 1997 and never got around to finishing. 😁 A totally non-biased testimonial: "Mom, you're the best organizer in the world. There's definitely no better organizer in the world. And you get it done so quickly!" ---My son, Arthur This Emoji Goes Great With😀😃😄😁 |
In my free time: I jam on my drums and am actively involved in the LGBTQ+ community, regularly putting together events.
How I got started: I was organizing long before I started doing it professionally. My grandparents had hoarding tendencies, and I often helped them sort through their things and think about what they really wanted to keep and what might go. This experience taught me to be patient and nonjudgmental, attributes that I carry into my work today. A fun bonus about me: I know a ton about electronics, antiques, and used stuff of any sort, so I'm great at assessing the value of what you have, making it easy for us to know if you should toss, donate, or sell items that you want to let go of. |
What makes me happy: I love creative projects, giving personalized gifts, and playing with my roommate's four cats. I believe in the importance of self-care and taking the time to recharge.
How I got started: Growing up, my family faced many of the same challenges that many of our clients do—there was never enough time and always more work that needed to be done. That’s why I’m passionate about helping cut down on that overwhelm, so my clients can focus on what matters most to them. What I've learned: The key to staying on top of things isn’t perfection—it’s having the right systems in place and the support to keep things running smoothly. What a long-time client says: "Kaitlin makes things so easy. She comes and just takes care of it all!" |
